An idea came
To link us all together
With some sweet symbol
A Bear Connection
Touching the child within
Bringing a beloved
That hug when needed
Reminding us to trust and love
For some their bear may be faded
Worn out with time
Having languished alone and forgotten
Until it’s retrieved
Lovingly restored
And passed on to the next generation
So, my vision was to bring
An awareness of what’s needed
Creating bears to share some joy
And be a source of comfort
Helping everyone with what’s needed
The bare necessities
Whatever gift can be provided
To help others
I began by knitting
Casting on intentions
Hoping these bears could offer
Something to hold onto
Stitched together and stuffed with Liberating Touch
A bear connection to Love and Truth.
